things that I have been thinking about
I have an amazon fire 7 9th generation, its basically my kindle, been rocking it for the last 2 to 3 years and the battery life is considerably good taking into account that I only use it for reading and nothing else, but now the battery life lasts around maximum of 3 days which is still good but that’s on idle and an average of 1 to 2 hour reading sessions a day, I can still rock it for the coming year but I am thinking about getting an e-reader, a dedicated device with a battery that can last me weeks on reading and months on idle, and oh boy is that a chore, I do not intent to update soon but just thinking and looking for stuff just ahead to be well prepared and there is a lot to unpack, I do know that I won’t get a kindle its either going to be a kobo or a boox but still I have not decided on which one I should get, I do value extensibility when it comes to the software side, I also want some water and scratch resistence on the hardware side and a whole lot of storage…
Thinking about the future lately seems bleak and seems hopeful at times, but I definitely find myself thinking about it most of the time. Not sure if it’s thinking about me too. I am taking a step every day, not sure where I am going, but I hope it all leads to where I want to go…
