A short story that carries a soft dread from its very first scene with a Gothic feel to it, the story follows a newly established doctor who is approached by a mysterious woman begging him to save a dying man. Her secrecy pulls him into a dark, almost dreamlike journey, and the truth he discovers is heavier than he expects.
Story is at its best in the atmosphere, the fog, the dim rooms, and the woman’s trembling speech everything feels slightly off balance, the pacing is tight. how far can you go to fix what can’t be undone?
